SET BOOK LIMIT

 

Here we define two things with respect to issuing books as follows,

 

  • Set the number of books that can be issued to a student in BOOK LIMIT.
  • Set the number of days the student can borrow the book in BOOK DURATION.

 

Book exceeding the BOOK LIMIT defined cannot be issued.                                                                                                                

If the student doesn't return the book on or before the BOOK DURATION then the students will be visible in Book dues.

GO TO,

LIBRARY MANAGEMENT >> BOOK LIMIT

Upon clicking, Book Limit a page will be displayed as shown below.

  • Book Limit - Enter the number of books that can be issued to a student.

  • Book Duration - Enter the standard number of days the book can be issued to a student.

  • Finally, click on Update button.

Book duration can be changed to individual student at the time of issuing the book, if needed.
