Entering Subject Marks

SUBJECT MARKS is used to enter the marks scored by the students of a class in all the subjects. You enter the marks subject wise (Part A and Part B) for any test (FA) or term (SA) at a particular instance. This section is also used to display marks obtained by the student in all the subjects in any selected test / term.

For entering marks in subject you can use "

" tab under


Subject Marks sectiontab is used to enter the marks.
Step to follow:

Step 1 :- Go to Grading System, click on Subject Marks menu.

 

Step 2 :- Once you click on Subject Marks menu, Subject Marks Master will be opened as shown below;-:


 

Step 3 :- Select Class, Section and Subject ( it Subjects drop down will contain both Part A and Part B both subjects).Part A and Part B Subjects display in subject section as per your need to enter marks, you can enter

select subjectBelow screenshot shows all the subjects (including PART B). Select a subject and enter the marks for each student.

 

Step 4: - Click on check box which showing besides the Term (SA) and Test (FA). Select Test or term number.

4.a : If you want to enter the marks for term Summative assessment (SA) then click on enable the SA field by selecting the check box which is showing besides SA and select which the term (Term 1 & Term 2) or if number (either TERM I or TERM II)  for which you want to enter the marks for test .

4.b: If you want to enter the marks for Formative assessment (FA) then click on check box which is showing besides FA and select which test (by default, FA will be enabled), then select the test number for which you want to enter the marks.

 

If you select Part PART A subject then you have to also select choose the maximum marks for subjects TEST and minimum TERM. Minimum marks will display automatically but if you want to change the minimum marks you can change it as per select of max the selected maximum marks.

But if you want to change minimum marks you can change it as per select of max marks 

Below screenshot shows the default minimum marks for the selected Max. Marks.

Step 5 :- Click on Filter () button.

 

Once you click on Filter button, Subject Marks Master will display all students’ name of particular class which is you select in class section with subject as like below screen shot;-in the chosen class.

 

Enter the marks under marks section and click on update button then automatically grade will generate GRADE will be generated the same and indicator section is not disabled for part A subject, so it will not display anythingsubjects.

If you select Part B subject,then maximum and minimum marks field will disabled and click on filter button as shown below.

Select Grade and Indicators as per students performance in Part B subject as shown below;-

Click On Update button.

For Viewing

View /Edit Subject Marks

This is used for viewing and modification of marks in subject term/test wise for particular class student
, you can use “View /Edit Subject Marks” tab under “Subject Marks” section
.
Step to follow;-

Step 1: - Click on “View/Edit Subject Marks” tab under subject marks section in grading system.

Then  

View Marks Card will display like below screen shot;-as shown in the below dialog box:

 

Step 2:-

2.a) Select the Class, Sectionand if you want to display only one student's marks in a class, select student. Select , student name and Term(SA) or Test(FA) number, It will display marks scored by the student in all the subjects. Click on Search button.

2.b) Select the Class, Section and Term(SA) or Test(FA) and select which term then click on search number, It will display all the students in the corresponding class and their respective marks in all the subjects. Click on Search button.

 

After clicking on search button, it will display marks for obtained in the all subjects term or test wise for the selected class and section as like below screen shot;-:

In Part B Subjects we can't assign marks so its display it is displaying zero(0) in the place of marks. For any changes to be made in the Part B subjects modification you can use only subject grades, it can be done only in the Subject Marks Tab.

If In case, you need want to modify the marks which is entered wrong you if you have entered the wrongly then click on edit ( ) button , then  Edit marks will open like below screen shot;-to update the marks.

Here you can change Subject Name, Subject Marks, Max Marks and Min Marks.

Click on Update button.
