In this module we Add all the subjects that the students study in various classes. Later mapping the subjects to the class and section is done in class subjects module.
Creating subjects will help in mapping classes to section. So, creating at least one subject is mandatory.
Go to,
MASTERS >> SUBJECTS
Upon clicking section module Subject Master page will be displayed as shown below.
Click on ADD button to Add a Section.
Upon clicking ADD button Section Add/Edit dialog box will be displayed as shown below.
Enter following details,
Subject name - Name of the Subject like English, Hindi, French, Spanish.
short name - Give a short name for the subject like Eng, Hin, Fren, Span
sort order - Any number starting from 1 can be given.
Finally, Click on ADD button to add a subject.
Upon clicking Add button a success message will be displayed as shown below indicating that the subject is successfully created in the software.
Similarly any number of subjects can be Added.
Click on the edit button to edit the name of the subject and click on update button top save the changes.
