MARKS GRADE

“Marks Grade” module help you to define grade for marks.

As per CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation), there pattern is used to display grade in place of marks. “Marks Grade” helps to assign grades in place of marks.

Example;--

Percentage of marks

Grade

90-100

A+

70-89

A

50-69

B+

31-49

B

Below 30

C

70-100

A+

Below 70

A

In your school, if total marks of subject are “100” and student got “80” on that subject, then percentage of marks is 80 %  and subject grade is “A” and if total marks of subject are “25” and student got 20, then percentage of marks is 80%  and subject grade is “A”.

Step to follow;-

Step 1 :- Go to Grading System, Click on Marks Grade menu.

Step 2:- Once you click on Marks Grades menu in the Grading System, Marks Grades Master will be opened.

Step 3 :- Once you click on Add() button, Add Edit Marks Grade Details will be shown as below;-

Step 4 :-Enter Grade name, enter weight as per grade name, weight is use to “display above how much percentage you   want to take for grade” and enter description of grades, click on check box of consider for only total grade to assign grade as a total grade.

It will show like below dialog box;-

Step 5:- Click on Add() button.

After Adding all grades it will show like below dialog box;-

 

GRADE GROUP

Grade group is module where you categorized grades in different groups. From this you define different group in different class.

For example;- If you define grades in Marks Grades as “A+”, “A”, “B+”, “B”, “C” of different marks percentage than you want to assign grades to different classes i.e. A and A+ of percentage of marks is 70 & 0 of subjects will display only on Nursery class. So firstly you have to create group for grades in Grade Group.

Step to follow;-

Step 1 :- Go to Grading System, Click on Grade Group menu.

Step 2 :- Once you click on Grade Group menu in Grading System, Grade Group master will be opened.

Step 3 :- Once you click on Add () button, Add/Edit Grade Group will be shown as below.

Step 4 :- Enter Grade Group name and Description as like shown below screenshot;-

Step 5 :- Then select Grades in Select Grades section by click on add() button as like show below screen shot.
