Create Book Vendor

 

  • A person or organization from whom we purchase the book are the vendors.
  • Even before we add the books, vendor details can be Added and saved in the software.
  • When we Add the books, we also mention vendor of the book.
  • If we have already created Vendors, the list of vendors will be displayed on typing vendor name first few letters and allows us to easily choose the vendor.

This will be helpful when we have to Add multiple books purchased from same vendor.

We can even type the vendor name directly even if the vendor is not added in the Book Vendor module and the Vendor details can be later updated.

If the Vendor is not added in the Book Vendor module, the Vendor won't be listed while we type vendor name when adding books.

Follow the below steps to create Book Vendor.

GO TO,

LIBRARY MASTER >> BOOK VENDOR

On clicking, Book Vendor, Book Vendor Master page will be displayed as shown below.

Click on ADD button to add a Book Vendor.

Upon clicking Add button a page will be displayed as shown below.

  • Enter the Vendor Name.
  • Enter the vendor Address and contact details, if available.
  • Finally, click on Add button to save the Book Vendor.

Upon clicking Add button a success message will be displayed as shown below.

Similarly, we can Add any number of Book Vendors.

Search a Book Vendor:


Type the search word in the search box and click on Find button as shown below.
