SUBJECT MARKS is used to enter the marks scored by the students of a class in all the subjects. You enter the marks subject wise (Part A and Part B) for any test (FA) or term (SA) at a particular instance. This section is also used to display marks obtained by the student in all the subjects in any selected test / term.

Subject Marks

Subject Marks tab is used to enter the marks.
Step to follow:

Step 1 :- Go to Grading System, click on Subject Marks menu.

 

Step 2 :- Once you click on Subject Marks menu, Subject Marks Master will be opened as shown below:


 

Step 3 :- Select Class, Section and Subject (Subjects drop down will contain both Part A and Part B subjects).

Below screenshot shows all the subjects (including PART B). Select a subject and enter the marks for each student.

 

Step 4: Select Test or term number.

4.a : If you want to enter the marks for Summative assessment (SA) then enable the SA field by selecting the check box and select the term number (either TERM I or TERM II)  for which you want to enter the marks.

4.b: If you want to enter the marks for Formative assessment (FA) (by default FA will be enabled), then select the test number for which you want to enter the marks.

 

If you select PART A subject then you have to choose the maximum marks for TEST and TERM. Minimum marks will display automatically but if you want to change the minimum marks you can change it as per the selected maximum marks.

 

Below screenshot shows the default minimum marks for the selected Max. Marks.

 

Below screenshot shows changing the min marks manually.

 

Step 5 :- Click on Filter () button.

Once you click on Filter button, Subject Marks Master will display all students’ name in the chosen class.

 

Enter the marks under marks section and click on update button then automatically GRADE will be generated the same and indicator section is disabled for part A subjects.

 

If you select Part B subject,then maximum and minimum marks field will disabled and click on filter button as shown below.

Select Grade and Indicators as per students performance in Part B subject as shown below;-

Click On Update button.

 

View /Edit Subject Marks

This is used for viewing and modification of marks in subject term/test wise for particular class student.
Step to follow;-

Step 1: Click on “View/Edit Subject Marks” tab under subject marks section in grading system.

 

View Marks Card will display as shown in the below dialog box:

 

Step 2:

2.a) Select the Class, Section, student name and Term(SA) or Test(FA) number, It will display marks scored by the student in all the subjects. Click on Search button.

2.b) Select the Class, Section and Term(SA) or Test(FA) number, It will display all the students in the corresponding class and their respective marks in all the subjects. Click on Search button.

 

After clicking on search button, it will display marks obtained in the all subjects term or test wise for the selected class and section:

In Part B Subjects we can't assign marks so its display zero (0) in place of marks. For Part B subjects modification you can use only Subject Marks Tab.

If you need to modify the marks which is entered wrong you click on edit ( ) button, then  Edit marks will open like below screen shot;-

Here you can change Subject Name, Subject Marks, Max Marks and Min Marks.

Click on Update button.
